I am a licensed manicurist who is certified as an Advanced Nail Technician with 10+ years of experience. I graduated from Wayne State University (Detroit, Michigan) with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I successfully served for over 20 years in the Human Services field, working with individuals with various challenges and disabilities. I returned to my passion and love for the art of manicuring as the sole proprietor of Khamilion Kafe in 2014, and The Peddi-Cured Medi Spa in 2018. I strive to create a personable and inviting experience.
I have acquired specialty skills as a Barefoot Certified Toenail Reconstruction Technician providing Medical Manicuring services for those with various illnesses such as cancer, renal failure, fibromyalgia, diabetes, mental disorders, and Parkinson’s disease. However, Reconstruction services can benefit people who have suffered permanent toenail damage and/or loss not only due to illness, but also injury. I recognized a need and because of my love for people from all walks, my passion prompted me to institute our Mobile Services. These services also include extended wear manicures, spa pedicures, gel polish manicures, artificial nail extensions, and specialized nail artistry.
As a branch of Khamilion Kafe and having over 10 years of manicuring experience, we are confident that Peddi-Cured, one of the first Medical Nail Spas in the Metropolitan Detroit area, will comfortably and safely provide traditional nail services in conjunction with a podiatrist for 360º disease prevention. At Peddi-Cured, we are bridging the gap between the traditional nail salon service industry and the Podiatry industry. We further aim to expand our support by educating, training and employing nail technicians and newly graduated podiatrists within the urban community to perform services that will increase the Nail Salon Industries Quality Standards. Physicians can confidently refer their clients to our facilities, knowing that a podiatrist is available onsite and with mobile services.
